‘Succession’ Season Four Fashion Recap: Where to Shop All the Looks

While some of the biggest shows on television today are known for outlandish, eye-catching fashion (Emily Cooper, we’re looking at you), that has never really been Succession's thing. Yes, the Roys have the money to snatch up the viral JW Anderson pigeon clutch (or ten) and Shiv's New York City closet has enough space to house just as many Manolo Blahnik heels, Gucci jackets, and Fendi bags as Carrie Bradshaw's. Despite that fact, the Roy daughter rarely ever wears an easily-labeled item of clothing. Like the rest of her family, she opts for quiet (or coded) luxury, low-key pieces, not easily identified unless you’re ridiculously wealthy or well-versed in inconspicuous fashion. That doesn't make the clothes of Succession less intriguing. Quite the opposite, in fact. The cast's wardrobes (put together by costume designer Michelle Matland) are often excessively chic thanks to their simplistic nature, and the added struggle to identify them makes the desire for them that much greater. Below, starting with episode one, we decoded some of these looks so you can start dressing like a Roy (and avoid any "ludicrously capacious" bags), and continue taking inspiration from them now that the series is over.

In what could be a Succession first (don't quote us on that), Shiv actually rewore an outfit in the series’ final episode. It's possible she ran out of the clothes she took from her apartment with Tom, and was forced to cycle through again, or she just loves this one particular blazer. Either way, Shiv started off the finale in a houndstooth Altuzarra blazer we originally saw in episode two. While last time, though, she wore the jacket with paper bag trousers from Rhode, in "With Open Eyes," Shiv instead opted for a matching pair of Altuzarra pants.

Of course, Kendall gave us one more Loro Piana moment in the finale, though this one was a bit more casual than his previous looks created using the brand. The eldest boy donned a cotton button down when he visited his mom's Caribbean estate, and given it's $580 price tag, it was pretty painful to see it get doused in the meal fit for a king.

It's very fitting that Michelle Matland dressed Roman up like a little boy for his post-meltdown stint at his mother's house. The blue t-shirt and pastel orange shorts really play up his vulnerability, and also suggest Rome likely had nothing else to wear at the Caribbean estate aside from the clothes he left last time her was there, years ago. Of course, the Internet had a field day when they discovered the tee is actually from the boy's department at Walmart, and with a price tag of $14, it's likely the most affordable piece of clothing from the entire season. Unfortunately, the top is now sold out, but light blue shirts like that are basically a dime a dozen.

Looks like the wedding gifts finally hit the bank account because Willa is officially stepping up her style, and just in time for her play reading in six to eight months. The new bride attended the Great Reallocation in a silk navy Ralph Lauren set, and while the top is currently unavailable, you can snatch the pants up right now, and something tells us they would look great worn while splayed across a cow print couch.

One final episode means one final opportunity for Matsson to show off his cool and casual aesthetic. This time, he did so with the help of a blue-ish gray Acne Studios crewneck sweater, which he later traded in for a Mohair cardigan that screams, "I can get the guy who put the baby inside of the baby lady."

While Caroline might have an empty fridge, she has proven to have a very full closet. When her children visited her at her Caribbean estate, the Brit was lounging around in a belted, Paul Stuart top. Later, for dinner, she replaced it with a blue and white cotton printed coat, also from Paul Stuart, looking very at home in the beach setting.

For the most part, Kendall's outerwear has consisted of suede bombers and hoodies from Tom Ford, but as the season has progressed, the weather has clearly cooled to the point where he's forced to pull out the big guns. And while Kendall usually prefers to keep things casual, the occasion of his father's funeral meant he had no choice but to dress up. So, out came this cashmere overcoat—Loro Piana, of course—with a popped collar to show off the delicious leather detail on the nape of the neck as Kendall admired his dad's mausoleum. Underneath, Kendall opted for a classic navy Brioni suit, which he wore with a tie for once. As for his sunglasses, the CE-Bro cried in secret behind a pair of Brunello Cucinelli x Oliver Peoples aviators.

Jess, meanwhile, also bundled up in a pea coat, though her budget doesn't allow for her to spend almost 9k on her outerwear. Instead, the assistant opted for a wool one from J.Crew (last season, so no longer available), though maybe her wardrobe will get an upgrade now that she's ditching Kendall for greener pastures. As for her bag, Jess did splurge a bit on that purchase, opting for a leather Métier tote in order to lug around all of Kendall's necessities.

Rava has had an especially stressful few days within the Succession universe, but she hasn't let that affect her style. In episode nine, Kendall's ex-wife headed upstate in a plaid, wool double-breasted coat from Gerard Darel, which she wore with a pair of bootcut jeans and gray crewneck sweater.

Marcia really embraced the widow role at Logan's funeral, showing up in a black fascinator complete with a netted veil. In fact, Marcia really went all in on the accessories—maybe, she wanted to show off all the goodies she bought during her post-split shopping trip to Milan. While we don't have an ID on her head topper or sheer blouse, and her necklace was a custom piece created by Brooklyn-based artists, Tessa Barlow-Ochshorn, her double-breasted Veronica Beard blazer can be all yours, even if you don't have a funeral to wear it to in the near future.

As a staunch anti-capitalist, one would assume Ewan's wardrobe would be significantly less pricey than that of his relatives, but either the Roy hypocritical blood runs deep through his veins as well (likely), or he just pulled out his very best in honor of his brother. The true eldest Roy boy attended Logan's funeral in a gorgeous plaid Zegna blazer with a $2,500 price tag (see a similar style below) and we’re pretty sure Greenpeace would not approve.

While Marcia went for something a little bit flashier for her ex-husband's funeral, Caroline opted for Chic simplicity, arriving to the church in a Saint Laurent double-breasted jacket, which she wore atop a high-neck shirt along with a black beret.

Willa traded in her go-to Sandro for its sister-brand, Maje, bringing some color to her wardrobe with a red, knit quarter-length sleeve dress. Unfortunately, her exact style is sold out, but we have some similar options below in case you’re trying to embody the look of a farfetched presidential candidate's wife.

Matsson didn't get too much screen time in episode eight, but he did make quite a statement in his few shots with the help of another conspicuous look. This time, the GoJo CEO watched the election from the comfort of his couch wearing patterned black and white pants from Brooklyn-based brand Parron Allen.

It's rare to see Shiv in any sort of color, so we were pretty excited when she arrived to Jean-Georges in this suit at the beginning of episode seven. In the end, though, it turned out this icy blue Armani ensemble was actually a light gray. Still striking, but really more fitting for the Shiv we know and love. Suit number two, however, brought Shiv back to her beloved color black, as the tailgate party called for a belted Michael Kors blazer, which she wore over a Zadig & Voltaire camisole.

While everyone else (besides Matsson) donned suits and slacks for the tailgate party, Kendall pulled another piece from what must be his endless supply of Tom Ford jackets. This time, the co-CEO opted for a brown, collared leather one from the brand (similar style seen below), which he layered over a crewneck sweater. This laidback look comes after Kendall met up with his ex-wife earlier in the day, an outing which called for a black, shearling bomber, skinny jeans, his favorite Loro Piana hat, and gray sneakers from the brand.

Kendall's foil, meanwhile, wore a piece that Kendall likely wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, a golden velvet bomber jacket from Needles. Unfortunately, the piece is sold out, but we’re including some similar, just as ostentatious, alternatives below.

Another episode, another Sandro dress for Willa. This time, the newlywed wore a black mini dress with a scalloped collar and sleeves while she begrudgingly debated possible love nest locations with Connor. Per usual, the dress is from her go-to brand, and while it's no longer available, we’ve got a very similar style below.

At this point, it does kind of feel like you can say this every week, but "Living+" was Shiv's episode, and she dressed for it. We first see Shiv lounging on her private plane, entertaining Matsson in a more feminine take on her classic suit, this time featuring a sort of bustier-style Alexander McQueen top underneath (similar style below) with a matching pencil skirt—almost risqué for Shiv. But that's nothing compared to what she changes into for the investor reception later on, a low cut Pinko jacket (sans shirt) and matching pants, the perfect ensemble to throw off for a mid-bash hook-up with your ex-husband. And just when you thought Shiv slipped back into her old ways and returned to her tried-and-true pinstripe suit, she mixed it up once again, opting this time for a pinstripe jumpsuit courtesy of Ralph Lauren (similar style shown below). While all three looks remain in Shiv's style comfort zone, they do illustrate a step forward when it comes to her overall aesthetic.

Likely the most important fashion moment of episode six comes when Kendall takes the stage in his custom flight jacket (unaccompanied by his brother, for whom Kendall made a matching one). The jacket is courtesy of Alpha Industries, based on a flight suit from their spring/summer 2023 collection. So while you can't get the exact Waystar-branded piece, you can get a very similar one and become a Waystar co-pilot as well, fudging numbers, and promising eternal life with every point of your privileged finger (Loro Piana sweater not included).

We didn't get too much of Matsson this episode, but we did see the Swede make a long barefooted trek from his private jet all the way to Shiv's plane. Per usual, Matsson was dressed very casually for the brief excursion, wearing Adidas track pants and a black tee. It does seem, though, like he has been influenced by Kendall, as the GoJo CEO has started to wear sunglasses from Ken's favorite brand, Jacques Marie Mage.

There's a condescension to Matsson that seeps out of every single one of his pores. It seems wholly important to him to prove at every turn that he is smarter, chiller, more successful than everyone he interacts with, or at the very least, the Roys. But it's not just the way Matsson speaks, flings about insults, or carries himself that allows him to exude the initial impression of indifference, but also the way he dresses. While Kendall tries very hard (and spends a whole lot of money) to look as low key as possible, Matsson actually just looks low key. The GoJo CEO dresses like a modern day outdoorsmen, albeit a fairly successful one who seems to almost exclusively wear pieces from Swedish brand Fjällräven. It works on a guy like Matsson, who no doubt has all the money in the world, but is still clearly desperate to in some way remain close to the common man.

It might have taken Shiv a bit of time to find her footing in episode five, but when it came to her looks, she delivered from minute one. The first time we see Shiv in "Kill List," she's in the Waystar offices wearing a white blouse with a Max Mara pinstripe vest and pants (similar styles below), proving that while she may not have gotten the CEO job, that won't stop her from dressing for it. Later, she embraces her Norweigan surroundings (while still stay true to Shiv) and dons a plaid Mackage trench coat, but clearly, she was having blazer withdrawal, because before the episode is over, the mom-to-be was able to sneak in two of her go-to, a brown leather Altuzarra blazer and a plaid Raplh Lauren with a white cashmere turtleneck underneath.

Roman is currently at the point of mourning where you start dressing like the deceased. While in Norway, the co-CEO wore a ribbed Ralph Lauren cardigan it looks like he pulled right from Logan's closet after the wake.

She may have only been on screen for a brief minute, and she didn't have any lines, but that was still enough time for Willa to show off yet another Sandro look.

We are slowly getting treated to more J. Smith Cameron this season, and thank god for that, because moments like that little pump up speech she delivered on the plane are currently too few and far between. Gerri reminded all of Waystar to stay positive when among the "soft, hammocked in their Social Security safety net, sick on vacation mania, and free health care" Europeans, and did so in a gorgeous, corduroy blazer from the very European brand Brunello Cucinelli.

It took him awhile, but Tom is finally catching onto the stealth wealth train, and took what was likely a much-needed shopping trip to Brunello Cucinelli to reinforce his wardrobe. Unfortunately, he brought out his pieces at the wrong time. While everyone else was embracing camping chic for the Norwegian get away, Tom looked a bit out of place in his cashmere vest and too-bright Tod's sneakers.

While Greg's income has assumedly gone up considerably since he started at Waystar, he is still conservative with his spending. Everyone's favorite cousin showed up to Norway in a plaid shacket from Uniqlo, on sale for $50, quite the price tag, especially compared to Tom's Herno jacket, which retails for $855.

It's not often we highlight Karl's looks here, but he's had quite a few big moments in the last two episodes, between his take down of Tom in "Honeymoon States" and his full transformation to compression sock wearing curmudgeon in "Kill List." When he's not wearing a robe, however, he is looking pretty dapper in a quilted Paul Stuart jacket and thick-rimmed Vasuma glasses.

We’re still waiting for Willa's wardrobe to catch up to her new-found net worth. In the words of Marcia, "Look how far [she's] come." Still, her outfits leave a lot to be desired and she continues to dress more like Greg's ill-fated date in episode one than a true Roy. Her look in "Honeymoon States" is just not appropriate for a wake. We would give a pass if, say, Kendall's daughter showed up in it (side note, where were his kids?), but for Willa to arrive in a flirty mini skirt matching set with calf-high boots means that despite all of the time she has spent with the Roys over the years, she still just doesn't get it. And don't even get us started on that choker. While for a second, at her rehearsal dinner, it seemed like maybe she was entering a new phase in her style journey, it seems at this point, Willa will remain just outside of the stealth wealth circle. At least now she’ll have a $63 million closet for all of her Sandro sets. Speaking of, if you’re into it, check out a similar knit set below. Just promise not to wear it to a funeral.

If Rihanna and her pregnancy dressing lives on one end of the maternity style spectrum, Shiv Roy is on the complete other end. Despite being in the second trimester of her pregnancy, Shiv is not trying to show off her bump in any way, covering up in an Alexander McQueen houndstooth blazer (very similar to the Altuzarra she wore in episode two). Of course, her decision to keep her big news private (from even the father), isn't too surprising, Waystar Royco doesn't exactly seem like the corporation that has a "women can do it all" mentality.

Even when Kendall mourns, he does so in style. The newly-appointed CEO started episode four very much in his feels, crying in his multi-million dollar apartment while wearing a $1,300 Tom Ford sweatshirt (see a similar, slightly more affordable option below). Eventually, though, Kendall was seemingly able to get a few moments in with his "grief guy," change into a more appropriate polo, and head off to take control of Waystar.

Ahead of her doomed nuptials, the newest Roy opted for a sleeveless Ted Baker dress with a wrap detail on the front that mimicked the suit she wore to her doomed rehearsal dinner last episode (we’re sensing a theme here). The dress is very affordable in the world of Succession, but now that she officially has access to Roy money, we expect her clothing budget to raise substantially.

Connor and Willa decided to move forward with their wedding, Logan's death be damned, but the circumstances surrounding the day meant we only got a glimpse of Willa's bridal look. Mrs. Roy opted to wear a (now discontinued) lace halter neck gown from Essense of Australia, with a price tag so low at $1,800, it's almost like she forgot who she was marrying. Connor, meanwhile, went classic (and off the rack), opting for a Hugo Boss tuxedo for his big day. Perhaps the presidential hopeful wanted him and his wife to seem approachable by the public on their wedding day.

Shiv loves to disrespect a wedding with her wardrobe choices and when she arrived to Connor's wedding boat, many quipped that she look dressed for a funeral. Little did they know how relevant her all-black look would soon become. Shiv attended the supposedly joyous event in a black suit jacket with a leather lapel (Tom Ford, of course), and a gold chain halter top. Not your typical wedding attire. In her defense, the logistics of Willa and Connor's wedding were a little confusing, so it's unclear if Shiv planned to change for the ceremony, or if she was going to stay true to her black pants throughout the evening. We will, of course, never know, but either way, the suit is a good one, and we found the jacket as well as a similar top and pants so you can recreate it (maybe just opt for a more put-together hair style if you’re heading to a wedding)..

Gerri arrived to Connor's wedding ready for an audience with the Queen in her Scanlan Theodore grayish-brown skirt suit and matching hat tipped just so. Of course, there was no royal ending for Waystar's general council in episode three, though she did end up in a better position than originally expected. Don't count Gerri out just yet, she's dressed to kill and she is not afraid to take the shot.

After going rather casual during the wheelings and dealings of the premiere episode, Shiv's executive fashion sense returned in episode two with the help of an Altuzarra suit comprised of wide-leg, paper bag pants and a houndstooth wool blazer. Underneath, Shiv added a silk cowl neck blouse from Lafayette 148—not exactly normal karaoke attire, but Shiv clearly didn't know where the night was going to take her when she got dressed in the morning. While the pants and top are, unfortunately, sold out, we found similar options (as well as her exact blazer) below.

For episode two, Kendall traded in one obscenely priced piece of outerwear for another, though he still kept it in the Tom Ford family. The new-found Buddhist stuck with his nondescript Loro Piana hat and (not pictured) limited edition Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses from the premiere, but he traded out the suede zip-up for a hyper casual hoodie. Unfortunately, the sunglasses—which were created by the Los Angeles-based brand in conjunction with Jeremy Strong specifically for the show—as well as the hoodie, are no longer available, so we found some similar pieces to hold you over. And of course, we have those Tom Ford sneakers that completed our Buddha's look.

Logan's subtle pinstripe suit is quite nice, yes, but we’re more focused on the boss's sunglasses from the second episode of season four. Logan wore the rectangular shades when stalking around the ATN offices, causing Greg to compare him to Santa Claus, you know, if the jolly Christmas character was a hitman. The glasses in question are from Persol, and good news! They’re on sale.

Next week, Willa will don a wedding dress for her nuptials, but on episode two, the bride-to-be opted to wear a white suit for her rehearsal dinner (at least for the portion she attended). The crepe blazer with a side tie is from Marella, and unfortunately it's sold out, but we found some similar pieces in case you also want to run out of your rehearsal dinner in style.

The biggest style star of the season four premiere was undoubtedly Naomi Pierce, who stepped out of her family's northern California estate showing off a new haircut, and the continuation of her chic, black and white wardrobe. Per usual, the heiress's look came mostly from Proenza Schouler in the form of a black knit tank top expertly tucked into her white wide leg pants. Both the shirt and pants are, unfortunately, out of stock, but we found some similar pieces for you to copy the ensemble. Tom Ford sunglasses added an air of mystery to her look, while Sophie Buhai pearl drop earrings brought a touch of elegance.

If Naomi Pierce represented the fashion high of the first episode, Greg's date to Logan's birthday bash was, unfortunately for her, the low. One of the standout moments of the premiere came when Tom called out Bridget "Randomfuck" and her "ludicrously capacious" bag. While everyone else at the party was likely carrying their Kellys, Bridget paired her black and white floral Sandro dress with a leather bag from Burberry, embossed with the British brand's famous check. Definitely not quiet luxury.

Shiv spent the majority of episode one running from California mansion to California mansion, trying to best her father and purchase PGM with the other new gen Roys. Luckily, she dressed comfortably for the task, wearing a light brown blazer with some relaxed, drawstring striped pants, both from MaxMara (and both, unfortunately, out of stock). A cotton and leather tote from Spanish brand Hereu and brown suede Aquatalia heels accessorized the look. On top, the ex-politico wore a dark brown, body-hugging tank, and many on the Internet believe the piece could possibly be a bodysuit from none other than Kim Kardashian's shapewear line. It seems very un-Shiv to wear something so trendy, but hey, we know she doesn't have her full wardrobe at her disposable at the moment, maybe she needed to reinforce it with some basics from Skims.

J. Smith Cameron was criminally underused in the season's first episode, but her outfit for Logan's bash still deserves a moment in the spotlight. The Waystar executive kept it simple for the event, wearing a black fitted Emporio Armani jacket with white trim. The piece was nice enough for a daytime birthday of Roy caliber, but easily transitioned into a late night of advising the family patriarch.

Nan Pierce isn't necessarily considered a style icon, but she has mastered the rich woman who lounges at her Northern California estate all day look. In the premiere episode, Nan did absolute nothing but sit in her living room in a striped button down and tan slacks from Lafayette 148 as she made 10 billion dollars. It absolutely does not get better than that.

Kendall Roy's mastery of coded luxury is unmatched by any of his contemporaries. Take his look in the premiere. It's simple, fairly inconspicuous—jeans, a tee, bomber jacket (similar style seen below), and baseball cap. In reality, his entire outfit, including his sneakers (not pictured) totaled to almost $10K. That's what happens when you wear all Tom Ford with a touch of Gucci, Loro Piana, and those limited edition Jacques Marie Mage glasses.

As the patriarch of the Roy clan (and the man that taught all these morons how to dress), Logan Roy often has preppier style than the rest of his family, and opts for Ralph Lauren, Barbour, and the like. Of course, his birthday was no different, and while Logan may not have felt comfortable at his party ("Why is everybody so fucking happy?"), he at least looked it. The man in charge wore a double-breasted cashmere cardigan from gasp Polo with a blue checked button down underneath. It was the look he wore to take his meditative walk through the park, however— with a nondescript cap to match Kendall's and a scarf perfectly tucked into his Ralph Lauren jacket—which we’re dubbing his best ensemble of the night.

The evolution of Tom Wambsgans style on Succession has been an interesting one. "Tom always attempted to dress dapperly to compensate for his feelings of inadequacy toward his new family's established wealth and stature," Matland told W. It took him awhile to find his footing, style-wise, but now, in season four he seems to have finally come into his own. On the first episode, the new-found bachelor wore a dark blue wool suit from Canali when he grabbed a drink with Naomi Pierce, proving just how far he has come since we first met the St. Paul prince.
